Norbu Torm

In Tibetan Buddhist rituals, the Norbu Torma, which translates to "Jewel Offering," is a highly esteemed luxury offering that is frequently offered to deities as a representation of wealth, prosperity, and sacred generosity.  This torma is made to call forth the blessings of material and spiritual fulfillment and is traditionally used for wealth deity ceremonies, such as offerings to Zambala, the god of prosperity.

The Norbu Torma, which is intricately crafted and embellished with colorful materials, is an essential component of Tukdrup Yizhin Norbu, a practice devoted to achieving goals and removing barriers.  It typically takes the form of red triangle tormas encircled by lucky objects and textiles, symbolizing the depth of Tibetan Buddhism's cultural legacy as well as the depth of devotion.
